Bishop’s Accomplishments

Bishop Charles D. Gregory began Victory Headquarters Christian Center in his living room upon arrival in Anniston, AL in 1994.  Listed below are just a few noteworthy ministry accomplishments under Bishop Gregory’s leadership.

  • Led 5 members, including his family, from the living room, to a 5,000 sq ft warehouse that was converted into a church facility.
  • The warehouse which was originally an open space with oil stained floors, was transformed into a beautiful edifice, that seated 200 people.  Bishop Gregory and the Deacons built offices, furnished the church with a central and heating air unit, and added restroom facilities.
  • The church acquired, remodeled, and dedicated a 12,000 sq ft tri-level edifice on 2418 Wilmer Avenue, Anniston AL to be used by the Victory Headquarters Christian Center family.
  • Through a prophetic utterance from God, Bishop Gregory prophesied that the church would be paid off in 10 years or less by a millionaire that would hear the word of faith and sow into the ministry.  This prophesy was manifested by God in less than 8 years.
  • In a spirit-filled worship service, the mortgage was burned as a sign of being free from debt on April 29, 2006.
  • Produced and aired a weekly television broadcast that reached the entire northeast Alabama area.  This broadcast lasted for over 7 years.
  • Acquired 2 vans, paid in full, to support ministry activities.
  • Incorporated new technology to enhance and further promote the Word of God through a weekly live broadcast of the service, social media, and interactive website connecting the entire world to the Victory Headquarters family.
  • Acquired 2 acres of prime commercial property in Anniston, AL to construct a new sanctuary for worship.
  • Under God’s grace, $100,000 was given as a charitable contribution by the land owners which resulted in the church only having to pay $50,000 for the land.
  • Lead the way in securing the new construction loan of .6 million dollars to build the new sanctuary.
  • Bishop Gregory leads a dynamic leadership staff, which consists of dedicated Christians who live to serve the people of God.
  • Bishop Gregory provides a clear God centered continuous vision to the church as the ministry embarked upon the construction of a new sanctuary.
  • Victory Headquarters Christian Center held it’s first service on November 1, 2014 in the new sanctuary.
  • Bishop Gregory was consecrated to the office of Bishop on November 12, 2016.
