Baptism Committee

One is not saved simply because they have received water baptism.  A person is not baptized in order to be saved, but rather because they are already saved.  Baptism is an outward expression of an inward conviction.  It is a symbolic and public display that you believe and have received the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19-20 states, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

Baptism shall be by immersion in water.  Baptism shall be administered by the Pastor or whomever he shall authorize.  Elders and Ministers assist the Pastor in baptism.  Deacons and Missionaries assist in the preparation for observance of baptism.  Baptism shall be administered as an act of worship during, but not limited to, any worship service.
